Mining Quarry
The Mining Quarry is a powerful machine in the game Rust, designed to extract valuable resources from the land. This item operates on diesel fuel to mine materials such as stones, sulfur, and high-quality metal from the ground. The type of resource the Mining Quarry yields depends on the biome it is positioned in. For instance, Stone Quarries generate in Temperate biomes, Sulfur Quarries in Deserts, and High-Quality Metal Quarries are found in snowy regions.
It is important to note that Mining Quarries are pre-determined to appear on Procedural Maps and players cannot claim ownership through locking; however, strategic placement of High External Walls and auto turrets can protect your quarry from intruders. Unfortunately, as of December 2017, players cannot craft the Mining Quarry, nor is it found as a loot drop. Currently, only game admins have the ability to obtain this item.
To install a Mining Quarry, Survey Charges are necessary to locate an appropriate mining spot. Seek out an area rich in the resources you need, and use the Survey Charges on flat terrain. If resources are ejected from the explosion, this indicates a viable location for resource extraction. Ensure there is enough space around you by performing a full 360-degree turn to check for obstructions. Once a suitable location is determined, fuel the Mining Quarry with diesel placed in the blue barrels on the side, climb to the top, and ignite the engine to begin the resource gathering process.
