Small Stash

The Small Stash is an essential item in Rust for players looking to safeguard their possessions, especially useful during the early game phase. It provides a stealthy means to hide resources and items before establishing a more secure base. The Small Stash can hold up to 6 different items or stacks of items, making it ideal for storing crucial materials or a spare key to your base's door.

To use the Small Stash, simply find a discreet location, place the stash, and deposit the items you wish to hide. Once filled, you can interact with it to bury it underground, concealing it from other players' sight. To retrieve your items, all you need to do is return to the stash's location and focus on the area for a few seconds; the stash will then reemerge, allowing you to access its contents.

Remember that while Small Stashes are concealed from plain view, they are not completely foolproof. Keep in mind that experienced players might still discover them, especially if placed in commonly searched areas. For maximum security, it's best to place stashes in unconventional locations and to use them for short-term storage as you work towards more robust solutions like a lockable storage box within a fortified base.
